Editorial Submission Guidelines

Authors submitting works to us warrant the following:

Their article/chapter is original and free of copyrights;

The work has not been submitted elsewhere, and is not under consideration with any other journal or publication;

The work does not include libelous, defamatory or unlawful statements;

Proof of consent has been obtained for any named individuals or organizations.

Unsolicited manuscripts are welcome, although inclusion is not guaranteed. 24 Seven magazine reserves the right to exercise its editorial judgment and reject any article at any time for any reason.
Submit only complete works, rather than outlines or pitches. 24 Seven will not consider partially completed works.

Editorial deadline is 12 pm ET on the first of the month, two months prior (e.g., September 1 for November issue).

Submit only exclusive content that has not been published elsewhere in print or online (e.g., on websites or in blogs, newsletters, magazines, books, etc.). 24 Seven requires first right of refusal and first publication. Articles previously published will not be considered for publication in 24 Seven. Contributed articles published in 24 Seven should not be republished in another publication for a period of three months after appearing in 24 Seven.

Submitted content should not be promotional in any way. This is a chance to showcase your thought leadership — not promote your company, products, services, etc. Offer the reader clear takeaways/next steps to maximize the full impact of your contribution.

24 Seven is a magazine, not a journal. If detailed attributions are necessary, please incorporate them into the text.

Articles must be a maximum of 500 words.

Articles must be well written with proper grammar and sentence structure.

Articles must be submitted as a Microsoft Word document only. Do not submit pdfs, links to text, or other formatted documents. They will not be reviewed for consideration.

Submit text in 10 point, regular font, black, single spaced.

Format text flush left only. Do not indent with tabs or spaces.

Submit text with only one space after sentence ending punctuation.

Submit articles in one column format.

Do not embed photos, charts, graphs, etc., within article text. Attach supporting items for consideration as separate items in email.

Do not emphasize text throughout articles; use regular font only. No all caps, bold face, italics, underline, various colors, etc.

Article must include an article title with submission.

Article must include an author byline after headline with appropriate credentials listed.

At the end of articles, the author biography should be a maximum of 35 words and consist of name, position, affiliation, and website URL.

Editorial decisions to publish or not to publish an article are made at the discretion of the 24 Seven magazine and are based on factors including but not limited to: relevance to the industry, interest to readers, timeliness and caliber of writing, as well as space limitations within the given publication. 

All submissions will be edited for accuracy, clarity, quality and length. 24 Seven does not guarantee that authors will review their work prior to publication due to time constraints inherent in the production process.
24 Seven reserves the right to lay out submissions with graphics of our own choosing regardless of suggestions, in keeping with our dynamic needs and current themes.

Contributors retain the right to their submitted work. Contributors agree that they will not publish the content in any publication, blog, website, email blast, etc, for a period of three months after publication in 24 Seven magazine.

24 Seven retains the rights to the finished work. Permission to reprint of any part of the magazine must be granted by Maximilian Communications, LLC, the parent company of 24 Seven. Reprints must contain the following: “Reprinted from 24 Seven magazine (month and year)”.

The views expressed in 24/Seven are those of the individual authors and do not necessarily reflect the official positions or policies of 24/Seven magazine.
None of the original editorial content that 24/Seven publishes is influenced by advertisers, politicians, private or industry sponsors, members, donors, partners or collaborators.
24 Seven magazine and its parent company do not warrant or assume any legal liability or responsibility for the quality, accuracy, completeness, legality, reliability or usefulness of any information, product or service represented in the publication.
